How to Make An Acoustic Phone Amplifier

Recently I was listening to a lecture on my iphone in speaker mode, and I started wondering if there was any way to get a richer fuller sound from those tiny speakers.

I noticed that if I put the phone in a corner where the walls reflected the sound, there was a dramatic improvement in the sound quality.

So I started doing some research and lo and behold there were a few woodworking projects that did exactly what I was thinking about. So I am sharing two with you here.

Both accomplish the same thing using different designs and techniques, so you can take a look and see which one suits your circumstances. Maybe you can even come up with your own!
