Introduction

The Woodworkers Calculator Converter has been designed to make , Imperial Calculations as painless as possible and at the same time provide automatic conversion to and from Metric Measurements.

The main display consists of an interactive tape measure which is as long as you need it to be, and corresponding readings in (Feet Inches and Inch Fractions) and (Meters Centimeters and Millimeters)

Entering Readings

This can be done in two ways:

  1. Simply drag the tape measure to the reading you require, using your mouse (computer or laptop) or you finger on a mobile device.
  2. Enter the desired reading in the corresponding boxes. The entire display and the position of the tape measure will automatically update.

Math Calculations

Math Functions are performed on the value of the current reading in the main display. This includes Multiply/Dividing and Adding/Subtracting in either Imperial or Metric

  1. Click on Math Fns.
  2. Select from one of the three options
  3. Enter a reading in the appropriate boxes and select the Math Function you need to execute.

Calculating Distance Between two Readings (Points)

  1. On the Main display, Click on Clear Points
  2. Set the reading on the tape measure to the first Reading
  3. Click Set Point #1
  4. Set the reading on the tape measure to the second Reading
  5. Click Set Point #2
  6. Click Cal Dist.
  7. The Distance between the two readings will be automatically displayed

Reset the Readings to Zero

To reset all readings to zero, Click On Go to Zero
