I built this cabinet to house my oils, glues & finishes cans. It is made from some nice texture pine I found in the hardware store and obeche (samba) for the doors, which is a very soft wood and easy to work with.
The frame is joined by mortises and wedged tenons (mahogany wedges), rebates for the 5 mm poplar plywood for the back and the doors panels, and beech strips for the japanese shoji effect on the doors.
I put one coat of polyurethane, sanded, and then one coat of bees wax.
Dimensions: circa 340x500x130 mm, 300x400x100 mm interior.
